“Kindness is the essence of greatness and the fundamental characteristic of the noblest men and women I have known.” - Joseph B. Wirthlin
This weeks "Worth Emulating" focus word to becoming more Christlike is KINDNESS.
Throughout Christ's life there were many occasions where he showed true compassion and kindness towards others. Christ, the only perfect person to ever live was forgiving and didn't pass unrighteous judgments towards others.
Christ was a friend to those who needed a friend. He wasn't worried about "being cool" or "fitting in". How often do we turn away from someone who needs us because we are afraid how those around might judge us or look down on us for associating with them.
How often do we pray to be an answer to someone's prayer? Do we ever try and think of ways to reach out and care for others? This week's challenge is to be kind. That does not only mean refraining from being mean or rude to others, (we should already be doing that anyway). But rather going out of our way to be kind.

J O U R N A L   P R O M P T S:

1.  Who can you reach out to today?
2. In what ways can you be more kind to your family?
3. How was someone else kind to you? How did it make you feel? How can you implement that in your life?
